    We recommend a program that includes at least 14 hours of driving combined with 15 hours of classroom or online learning. Additional lessons can be added if needed.

  • Q6. Which course is suitable for experienced drivers?

    For experienced drivers, the standard package includes 10 hours of driving plus 15 hours of classroom or online training.

  • Q7. Why is the online course more expensive than in-person classes?

    In-person classes are conducted in our own facilities in North and South locations, while the online course is provided through third-party platforms, which increases the cost.

  • Q8. What should I do with the insurance certificate after receiving it?

    Submit the original certificate to your registry agent and provide a scanned or emailed copy to your insurance provider.

  • Q9. Can this certificate be used in other provinces?

    Some insurance providers outside Alberta may accept it, but this varies by company. We cannot guarantee acceptance elsewhere.

  • Q10. What is the minimum notice required to reschedule lessons?

    A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule both classroom and driving sessions.

    Yes, we are fully certified by Alberta Transportation and operate under government-approved bonding and insurance requirements.

  • Q12. Is it compulsory to bring a car for driving lessons?

    No. All training is conducted using our fully equipped driving school vehicles.

  • Q13. Do you offer official road tests?

    Road testing is not part of our service, but we can help you book it when ready.

  • Q14. Can I request a specific driving instructor?

    Yes, instructor requests can be made depending on scheduling and availability.

  • Q15. Can I switch instructors if needed?

    Yes, you can request a change. However, scheduling may vary depending on the availability of another instructor.

  • Q16. What if I prefer one-on-one training only?

    Premium lessons offer fully private instruction. Standard lessons may include short periods where another student is present in the vehicle. You may upgrade to a premium package for full privacy.

  • Q17. What benefits does the insurance reduction certificate provide?

    The certificate can offer insurance savings and may reduce the waiting period for a full licence after passing your GDL test. Savings vary depending on the insurance provider.

  • Q18. Can I get a certificate if I completed training more than 3 years ago?

    Unfortunately, we only retain records for up to two years, so certificates cannot be reissued after that period.

  • Q19. I did not get my certificate by mail. What should I do next?

    We send certificates via standard Canada Post with no tracking available. If lost, a duplicate can be issued for an additional fee.

  • Q20. When will I receive my certificate after completing the course?

    Certificates are typically issued within one week via email and postal mail. If it hasn’t arrived within the given time, please let us know.

  • Q21. How soon can I start my course after registration?

    Online course access is sent within 24 hours. Classroom schedules are confirmed within 2 business days. Driving instructors usually contact you within 2–3 business days. Start times may vary based on availability.

  • Q22. What is the minimum driving lesson duration per session?

    Each driving lesson must be booked for a minimum of 2 hours.

  • Q23. Can I take more than 2 hours in one lesson?

    Yes, up to 3 hours is allowed. A 15-minute break is required after every 2 hours of driving.

  • Q24. Can I bring family members during driving lessons?

    No, only registered students are allowed in the training vehicle.

  • Q25. Can I attend a driving lesson without my physical licence?

    No. You must present your original licence. Photocopies or photos are not accepted, and the lesson will need to be rescheduled.

  • Q26. Can I request a male or female instructor?

    Yes, you may request your preference during registration or by contacting our office.

  • Q27. Do instructors use their phones during driving lessons?

    Only when the vehicle is safely parked and with the student’s permission.

  • Q28. What will be included in my 2-hour driving lesson?

    Each lesson includes theory review, practical driving practice, feedback, demonstrations when needed, and performance evaluation.

    Pick-up and drop-off are based on your registered address. In some cases, nearby alternative locations may be arranged depending on instructor approval.

  • Q32. Do you provide pick-up for classroom sessions?

    No, pick-up services are only available for driving lessons. Students must arrange transport for classroom sessions.

  • Q33. Can I use my own car for lessons?

    No, for safety and insurance purposes, we only use certified dual-control vehicles.

  • Q34. Will I have the same instructor for all lessons?

    Yes, you will generally be assigned one dedicated instructor for consistency.

  • Q35. Is the car for the road test included?

    It may be included in certain packages. Otherwise, rental availability and fees must be confirmed with your instructor.

  • Q36. Can I get a refund if I do not use the road test vehicle?

    No, the vehicle use is part of a package and is non-refundable if not utilized.

  • Q37. Can I complete the classroom portion after driving lessons?

    No. The classroom or online theory must be completed before or alongside driving training, as required by Alberta Transportation guidelines.
